All About the Say Mode
Say will add “> You say”
to the beginning of your input, and wrap whatever you type in quotation marks, unless you added them yourself. This is essentially Do, but a shortcut for speech.
The AI will treat it similarly to a Do command, in that it will treat it as a player action, meaning it may be treated as a failure.
Example:
Your input:Where in the world did you come from?
Is sent as:> You say "Where in the world did you come from?"
TIP: Say is here for more convenience and clarity of use. If you want to spice up your dialogue, use Do and have a more interesting input than “You say”. Shout, cry, ponder, or even do actions while talking. Example of using Do to say something…Player inputshout, “Hey! Teachers! Leave them kids alone!!” as you shake your fist at the schoolmaster.
What it sends to the AI> You shout, “Hey! Teachers! Leave them kids alone!” as you shake your fist at the schoolmaster.
